I’ve played bad games before, even bad Madden games before, but good lord Madden 24 takes the cake. I mean, it’s hardly functional, the animations are STILL incredibly wonky, for such a bare bones look the menus are insanely confusing to navigate at times, “skill-based passing” is a COMPLETE lie as every throw is a total coin flip, not the pass itself, but whether or not the defender will run inhumanly fast or jump inhumanly high to swat the ball, we STILL have not gotten the physics based impact we were promised as everything is STILL based on the STILL incredibly wonky animations. The long and short of it is that Madden as a whole has bad bones and EA refuses to actually fix the issue. Instead they take an already broken system and just throw more flashy junk on top of it that’s not going to make the game play any better. Madden 24 is a culmination of years of that issue. Honestly, this game is so bad EA should really be paying us to play it. It’s absolutely DREADFUL!
