One of the most compelling books I have read You are drawn in from the first page and it is very hard to put down. One to be enjoyed across generations and by those who appreciate all styles of novel for its beautiful prose.

Started well, then lost its way. By the middle I had lost all interest in the characters. I contemplated giving up, but not to be defeated forged on until I was 3/4 way through and then skipped ot the end. I only hope future generations aren't made to read this as a classic, as it simply isn't one.
