I found 'Letterkenny' quite by accident. I was cruising through YouTube and found some of Jared Keeso and Jacob Tierney's original skits about two hicks in the Deep North of Canada, so I gave them a watch. Three hours and countless tears of laughter later, I came to the conclusion that I had to find some full episodes of the show, so I took to Amazon and ordered the first two seasons. I bet I watched both of those DVDs at least a dozen times in the first week I had them. I couldn't get enough! Wayne is the epic hero we all want AND deserve and his band of misfit friends and hangers on give the show a depth that one doesn't usually see in television shows anymore. The writing is excellent, too. So many shows today rely on crude physical humor and canned laughter, but that is not the case with 'Letterkenny.' Though the show does have its own share of crude physical humor, the dialogue between characters and the character development that you can see from episode to episode is expertly and beautifully crafted for the maximum enjoyment of folks on both sides of the screen/camera. You can tell that these folks really enjoy each other and that chemistry comes out on camera. Not for the sensitive of ear, 'Letterkenny' drops F-Bombs and other expletives like my 6 year old drops her tablet (which is OFTEN), but don't let that deter you watching. You won't regret it.
