Charissa Harder

I’m sad to say that it’s quite boring. I tried a few times to get through episode 5. I called it quits after another failed attempt. The show looks fantastic and it feels like middle earth in that regard - however the script is lacking and the dialogue is cringe. The actress who plays Galadriel is terrible. She has neither the striking ethereal beauty nor the commanding presence to play such an iconic character. Every scene with her drags on and she has no emotion but anger and annoyance. The most intriguing characters are the black elf and healer (can’t remember their names) which really say a lot of the writing. The best characters aren’t even beloved Tolkien characters. What a disappointment.
