Poor acting.. cannot watch beyond 1st episode…

Too dragging… 6 episodes is too much..

I’m a fan of mystery writer Keigo Higashino. All his novels are very captivating. Every character played in this series is as described in his novel. Professor Yukawa is portrayed as in novel. But little disappointed with character playing rookie detective Kaoru Utsumi, she was portrayed as smart and quick thinker. But the series shows her just the opposite. Could have been better..

I watched this series (mostly fast forward) due to the hype created in social media. I loved the male lead character… but the most cringe worthy character was the female lead.. as someone mentioned over eating, over acting.. because of which I had to fast forward last few episodes and I think this could have ended with just 12 episodes.. 17 episodes way to much..

Content of the series was good. Beautiful place, food and local people. What’s annoying or irritating is Phil’s stare & grin. Looks very artificial and overdose of expression which is not required all the time. Probably they should have got a host someone who is natural & has some knowledge of food of these beautiful places. Maybe Phil is good behind the scene then on the scene.
