Didn't have any expectations going in and I think that helped! Take it for what it is - a camp, sinister, silly film that is full of genuine surprise moves. The soundtrack is incredible and is worth two of these stars alone.

Very weak plot and script. There is next to no character development and they introduce so many people in this first instalment that it's hard to keep up. There are also plot holes throughout. The choreography of the fighting scenes is so bad at times it's comical, and the chemistry between the actors is non existent. It's not original and I didn't find it enjoyable to watch.

Overall enjoyed this film. Loved the cinematography and the score. The pace was a bit slow at times and it's on the longer side, but it had a lot of great suspense and the acting was largely fantastic. Some weak plot points but still an enjoyable film that I would recommend.
