Showed up on my Netflix home page so decided to watch it, without any prior knowledge of the webtoon. I liked the somewhat cartoony VFX and the story had some nice moments with a varied cast of interesting characters. The acting was good and the creatures were creepy, they did a great job with the set as well, very immersive almost comic book-like atmosphere.
SPOILER WARNING AHEAD.
Some things I didn't like:
Could use a better soundtrack, they played "Warriors" by Imagine Dragons WAAAAY too much, and it didn't always fit very well with the scene. That song is just aggravating to listen to after the 10th time.
Also some unexplained things like a lot more of the apartment survivors were definitely shown getting shot when the apartment is invaded by that armed gang, but where are all these dead people? Most of the cast was still alive...
How did that one ex-special forces/fire fighter chick change into a military outfit outside in the snow so fast in episode 10? Strange pacing issues
Why did the older brother/leader guy just sit in the apartment while its collapsing, that made no sense to me. Was he just too late to catch up with the rest of the survivors so decided to let himself die? Just seemed so out of character.
While the old guy is digging to find that hidden tunnel, the asthma girl comes by to talk to him, she passes out at the doorway of the room while they're talking and the old guy doesn't even notice? The dude with the face scar had to come running from a whole different area of the apartment and to pick her up, old guy is just digging I guess since it never cuts to him.
Why even take this hidden tunnel out of the apartment if it just leads outside to where the soldiers are?
