Bawaal is a beautiful movie with a great message. Original storyline and original songs. Finally, something good came out of Bollywood after a long string of suckish films. And the World War 2 parts were wonderfully done! They did their research, and the connections made to the present day are magnificent. The people that gave this film 1 star clearly only go for masala-type movies that are remade stories, don't make sense, have zero storylines, with remixed songs. This is a thought-provoking film, and anyone who doesn't understand or like this film clearly doesn't have the brains to understand its message. I'm a filmmaker. I went to school for film production and have been working in film and theatre for years. I'm always drawn to a film's story, and Bawaal has the story. Varun and Janhvi gave really good performances in this movie, their best yet.
