"Beetlejuice Beetlejuice" is a worthy successor to the original. The movie nails the tone perfectly. It's just as weird, funny, and intriguing as the first film. The characters are all well-developed and likable. The story is captivating and intriguing. Jenna Ortega is perfect as Astrid. She's got just the right amount of snark, sass, and quirkiness to keep you loving her throughout the entire film. It was great to see actors from the original cast and the new characters definitely added to the film. I was hit hard with a wave of nostalgia watching "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice." The movie is full of great callbacks to the original film. There are references to so many great scenes, which I won't mention to avoid spoilers, but let's just say they brought back a flood of awesome memories. These little touches will definitely make fans of the first movie smile. It's clear the filmmakers understood what made the original so special, and they did a fantastic job of capturing that same magic. Overall, "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice" is a great sequel that does the original film proud. It's a fun, entertaining, and heartwarming movie that you're sure to enjoy. Tim Burton can do no wrong.
