So first of all Kim possible was at it’s true peak when I was at the prime age of being the viewing audience. This was my favorite tv show growing up and Kim was my idol. So the movie...where do I begin. I am going to ignore the fact that there is no kimmunicator or the original black crop top and baggy cargo shorts, or Kim’s perfect hair, or the OG Monique or a cute but goofy Ron (they missed the mark big time of their interpretation of the original Ron and why make him talk like that) because I will just trigger myself into jumping off a bridge. They took all the iconic tools and parts of the characters and decided to chuck it all out the window to allow for the obvious cheap budget (they probably spent all the money on the ‘amazing’ cgi). The plot line was so obvious that my little sister who is 10 figured out the plot within the first 20 minutes of the movie. They took an iconic character and tried to introduce the story to a younger audience to repopularize the amazing original story. They completely failed. Disney movies have gotten worse and worse and I really hope they figure it out soon because it is wrecking not only my childhood and how I am going to remember it but also poisoning the minds of the new audience they are targeting by letting them think that 1 this acting is okay and 2 that this is what Kim Possible is all about.
