I have been watching this serial more or less from the beginning and find it an appropriate story to tell about a woman ruler who fought for the rights of women more than 200 years ago and who believed in justice for all. The actors and actresses who play various roles are well suited and are doing good job.
However, I have a number of reservations. The Stroy is being prolonged that is annoying. The Holkars are shown to be rightly very brave and the Subedar believes in justice for all. But they are shown to lack something. Subedar's second wife Dwarka and her son-in-law are plotting all the time and Holkars appear to have no control, they spy on Holkars moves but Holkars have no intelligence setup of their own, they never investigate or become suspicious of what is going on. Plotters appear to be always on the top. One can find so many similar drawbacks in the story.
I am sure real Holkars were not like this as they achieved so much for their state.
In spite of these flaws, the serial is worth watching.
