Spoiler alert🚨 bellow. Absolute disappointment is all I can say. I really want to love this movie. But the need to take a so called “dramatic and philosophical” turn absolutely destroys it. I had hoped for a movie where joker got out, met haley Quinn and lived as a wild romantic couple. But all I got was 2 hour 18 minutes of a music video on how to “build a mountain”. I assume that building a mountain refers to them establishing a family or even better an underworld empire. As JOKER is widely known for. So I guess what I am saying is that I got a movie where they sang on how to build a mountain. But I wanted/expected a movie where they build sat mountain. We wanted a backstory on joker but got a parallel universe where he died?. There was so much opportunity to this movie. And you put it all in the trash for what!. 10/10 for the actors. They did their job as perfect as they could given the circumstances. 0/100 to whoever came up with this idea. Just stick to making movies and NOT musicalise. And please for the love of god don’t kill the main character at the end, it doesn’t give the tragic effect you think. It just leaves me with an angry feeling(Not how you wanna leave the cinema).
