I was let down. I couldn't wait to see it but disappointed when I did. They tried to hard to be funny in this movie. The jokes missed the mark. If you are a fan of the previous avenger movies, this it not them. Characters weren't being thier normal more serious selves like in previous shows when humor was inserted so it missed the mark. All very forced humor, not funny. Thor, Star lord, Valkyrie, Sif roles in this movie sucked. It's as if the writers and Director's didn't know the characters. They made the Marvel characters look stupid instead of cool. Then the new characters, Zeus for example, were ridiculous. Being the top God he should have been written and costumed as a tough, or even wise character, more like Russell Crow's Gladiator. Instead Zeus was a frilly weak pervert. They missed a great opportunity for a great fight scene there as the ones of the previous Avengers we know and love. This scene again disappointing and not in the direction of the once fantastic Marvel. Christian Bale did great in his role of Gorr, the one redeeming character in this film. I sure miss Stan Lee's work. I hope this is not the New norm for Avengers movies now. If so I am no longer a fan nor will want to see them Ruined like this.
