It was a great movie in my honest opinion. There are so many references that the fans will get, YouTubers who helped build the game (my personal favorite MatPat from Game Theory) and even small things like the officially licenses costumes on Amazon. Overall though you would need to understand at least some of the lore to enjoy and it is probably not for a person who has never heard of “Five Nights at Freddy’s” but for the fans that have been waiting forever and grew up with fnaf (such as myself) you would enjoy the movie and the subtle references that pop up every once and a while.
