The eternal struggle between good and evil is manifested here by the interaction among 3 quasi-Biblical characters in a very dense drama. The, presumably, goddess of justice is played by a feeble-minded and common-sensed valued housewife, deserting her wicked husband at his most critical moment. A gem!
