I have been a omnivore all my 66 yrs and have never really felt great. As I age, I have bloat and weight gain and general unwellness. I don't eat a lot of meat or dairy and do incorporate veggies and fruits. But I have known these truths for many years, but like so many others I have chosen to ignore them, because hec, I like my steak and pork and chicken. But big factory farming is horrific, just go visit a feed lot, oh that' right you can't, they hide them in big buildings. Then go to a processing plant, but they probably wouldn't let you in.
I'm going to try plant based for 30 days and see how I feel. I can always go back to the way I ate before if I want to. But I would love to feel good again and if this is an answer, I'm all for it.
But when you say this film promotes veganism, what do the filmmakers have to gain by doing that? Promoting eggs, milk, dairy and meat, we all know in our heart of heart that big corporations have much to gain by that. I think this film was well thought out and provided much valuable information for all to chew on (get the pun?)....I watched it 2X as there was so much information, I didn't want to miss anything. Bon appetite, whatever way you choose to eat!
