I just finished watching Khauf on Prime, and I canโt stop thinking about how wrong it felt by the end.
What started out as a story about women, pain, and survival somehow turned into a story about a man โ a predator โ and his rage.
And thatโs really messed up.
The show had everything:
1. Girls trying to escape small towns to live free lives in Delhi.
2. A survivor like Madhu who had already been through so much โ raped and betrayed.
3. A girl like Rima, depressed from the fear of female foeticide.
4. And Anu and Lana, who just wanted to breathe, to dream, to see the world.
But instead of letting them be the centerโฆ the story made Jeeva โ the harasser, the abuser โ the immortal spirit.
He died, and still somehow, he haunted everyone. He had more power after death than the women.
No woman in the show got justice.
Not Madhu. Not Anu. Not Lana. Not Rima.
No oneโs pain was honored. But Jeevaโs anger? That stayed forever
