This is a life-changing movie. A real piece of art. It teaches you a way of seeing life, and to let go and just do what you want to do because one day you won't wake up and you'll have regrets. Because the most important thing isn't what people think of you, it's what YOU're gonna think of YOUR life and yourself when you look back on the life you've lived on your death bed. The plot twist was honestly shocking !
SPOILERS :
When Marla said "we?" looking both surprised and worried I knew. That's when I realized "Tyler" wasn't real and Tyler did it all but as if he was a spectator of his own life, putting another face on his actions. I realized after finishing the movie that not once do we get to know his name, and the reason was that they were the same person and we would've known "Tyler" doesn't exist and there's just one person : Tyler. It was honestly insane, the way "Tyler" goes mad and technically tries to stop himself was really amazingly well-done (also confused and impressed at how the actor managed to fight and struggle against himself! Especially the part where he pulls himself by his hair like whatt). I think it shows that it's good to listen to yourself and do what makes you feel alive but always to a certain extent, at first he was happy and it was just him and himself but things went south when others started getting involved and he started doing some terrorist/vandalism stuff and all of a sudden he wasn't even happy anymore, he wasn't himself (litteraly).
This movie is pure genius.
