This movie is like a classic cult masterpiece in anime history. I don't have any words to explain how good this movie was for me. For me it was emotionally touching and heart wrenching.Ghibli movies are for kids but I think this movie should be a must watch for everyone, it should be recommended to students to watch it in history class as it was based on real life. It should be shown to people who say war is the last option but most importantly in the times of war, even in this movie it is shown what happens to most of the common people during and after war. I recommend it to everyone. Must watch for 1 time.
