I wanted so badly for Julia Garner to be amazing because she's amazing in everything else. However, this was not the case. I think a better job would have been done had she dropped the accent. The unrecognizable accent became very distracting.
It was nice seeing Anna Chlumsky on the screen again. Her ability to portray an awkward character brings me back to My Girl.
Overall, this show needed more but showed up with a lot less.
