An outstanding line-up of band mates, a potent admixture of tracks that cleverly span the global African diaspora, and much virtuosity on offer by all participants, especially the date leader. As wonderful a recording as this is, you will miss out on the smoldering soulfulness of his aura and lavish generosity of spirit if you've not yet gone to hear Terence Blanchard in a club.
