This film focused on an interesting topic and featured interviews from state and Federal officials and a senator but still was not very compelling or captivating mostly because of its main character, Pat.
As a character, Patโs story line about his behavioral health disrupted the narrative flow of the film several times. It felt like an abrupt digression from an interesting plot about telemarketing rather than an intriguing, complex, side plot for a character. Additionally, the film did not need a side story in order to keep the audienceโs interest. As an interviewer, Pat was unprepared and unskilled. Thus we never got responses to many important questions. They werenโt even asked. The interviews all felt like wasted opportunities.
The ineptitude of the storytelling and amateur investigative journalism prevented this film from being good.
Donโt waste your time.
