It’s really cute. Ignore the 1 Star reviews. Dullards 🙄(if you know, you know). It’s no more an attack on Christmas than most Christmas themed films. At least this one manages to actually mention Christ. Most don’t. For the record, the nativity play is a tongue in cheek treatment of the absurdities of the very woke thoughts the critics are incensed by. Adults will perceive this; kids will take it as slapstick and absurdism. There are many beloved Christmas films that are far, far worse. I am well aware that attempting to explain let alone convince some people of this would be futile. This says it all. And I found it to be gently critical of fragility, and catastrophizing. It’s a good film. It has some weak points, IMO. Im sure some will disagree. Don’t let the cantankerous puritans ruin it for you.
