This is my new FAVORITE show! I’m obsessed, it’s the only new show in the past decade I’ve liked. Im a 26 year old girl so I guess I am the target demographic. I couldn’t understand why the ratings were so low on here, and then I read through the comments and saw everyone was mad about the 5 second clip of them showing a “guys girl” pretending to like football and video games. This show is part SATIRE people and that clip even has some truth to it. All of the characters are aspirational HBIC’s (except for Kat denning’s character she’s a bit mopey but I suppose it’s because her breakup is a central plot line). Even Izzy is just so great. Anyway, I really appreciate the cutaway scenes they really liven up the show and add a jovial fantastical element. I think it adds a unique flare to the show. Not every show needs to be boringly literal and true to life. I think the show is very woke and as part of that it pokes fun at a lot of stereotypes, people seem to misconvey this as serious stereotyping rather than explorative. Love this show!! Waiting for season 2!
