SVU meets plastic Hollywood, lost any semblance of reality, pure cheese. How about after his wife dies he becomes a hard drinking depressed private eye with a heart of gold that intertwines with police investigations. The whole "woke" angle is a real turnoff, literally, CLICK

Too bad this show couldn't just be a show about comics, the characters in the periphery of the show are 70s cardboard cutouts saying cliche lines. It's more than boring, it's insulting.
