As an active duty Master Chief, I didn't follow politics much. When I retired I decided hey... I need to get smart on this stuff, so I can vote with all the information. One of the most obvious things I noticed is CNN versus FOX. I quickly learned I cannot rely on either channel for credible and accurate information. At this point, if you want to know what is going on, you have to get in and do the research yourself. Look at the FBI's databases. Don't use confirmation bias to search. (Oh and by the way, I learned to use different search engines too. I couldn't find anything on things I knew I watched or read.) I have closely watched both conventions. I thought it was a huge win for the Republicans. Up to this point, I was still on the fence. After watching the debates and then watching the Today Show, I was actually disgusted. You should be ASHAMED!! This is disgusting that our civilians are listening to propaganda and misinformation. I didn't believe this could happen in our country. HERE IS A NEWS FLASH! UNLESS YOUR PROTECTING SOURCES REPORT ALL THE NEWS WITH REFERENCES!!!!!!! DO NOT JUST REPORT AN EDITED VERSION OF THE NEWS TO SUPPORT YOUR AGENDA! I DO NOT LIKE TO BE TOLD WHAT TO THINK. GIVE ME THE INFORMATION AND LET ME DECIDE FOR MYSELF. Honestly, if more Americans took their time to do the research they would be stunned like I am.
