This is a must watch and a nice perspective of what a non-Zionist, non-Hamas POV into the matter is. Most telling is the campaign organized online to suppress this film, it's fervent and so I wanted to make sure to watch it before access was blocked. Netflix deserves kudos for being willing to share it with the western world - it's Jordan's official entry to the 2023 Academy Awards, it wouldn't be right to withhold it. It's not like Faces of Death, it's Faces of Lies.
Anyway, it's a tough watcha at points. Like close your eyes, brutal. But it's important and really well done, and the government in the United States or it's pro-Israeli counterparts are desperate to ban it, because they don't like the depiction of Israeli soldiers and claim they'd never behave that way. The fact that I see a dozen videos of Israeli soldiers behaving this way or worse EVERY DAY, and have since October 7th, makes that criticism 100% meritless and lends all the credibility to the accuracy of the film that I need.
It's an important 90 minutes of your life. Please watch, like, and share.
