I didn’t like this book. I found it hard to follow. The description of the men digging into the head of a live monkey and eating its brains was sickening and disturbing.

I ordered this recipe book as Thai food is my favorite. However, I’m also vegan and found these recipes very disappointing. There are very few vegan dishes and no main dishes that are vegan.

Boring, until near the end when it focused on her long flight.

I loved the story of this book. Although it’s a story of loss, suffering and tragedy, it’s also a story of love and hope.

I found it very sad. Although the Nelson family was happy and in a good place the back story of the past threaded throughout was very sad.
