Donald Sutherland was outstanding in this movie. As was, the "bad guy"---which I absolutely believed was Ed Norton.
The movie began with some violence that was shocking...but parlays into the actual story. It reminded me of that song " Dirty Laundry" by Don Henley.. The media and our insatiable need to feast on what we are being told...to believe everything we hear and read, plays a huge role in this thought provoking story that involves a murder of a child, and the actual murderer himself..who is seeking TRUE JUSTICE.
I did not enjoy the way police were portrayed in this film. It was uncomfortable, and in my opinion, false. It lumped all law enforcement in to one category. Some of the acting was poor, but overall, a good movie.
