Not "True Blood, " but decent.

Excellent movie. Good wholesome family type stuff. No profanity, nudity, or gunfights in this one. Truly a breath of fresh air!

I kinda liked the movie, maybe because I've never read the book. The sets were vibrant with colors, and the unearthly beings makeup and wardrobe were on point. I do agree that there is a deeper message here though. But I also agree that it was rather boring. I went to sleep about 5 times and kept rewinding it to catch the parts I missed until the end.
