I had high hopes for this film, but I should've known the constant ads were a red flag. The movie starts off standard as any other horror movie, but it falls apart once the threat is in play. The deaths were all too close to each other and they were all uneventful. That Joker bathroom dance scene they ripped off of was very lazy and definitely set an understanding for what was to come. This is the first A24 film I've seen and I can't say I'm interested to see more.
