Are you serious about how the producers handled the issue of inappropriate behavior from a male contestant toward several of the women? Shameful, you heard the comments made by the contestants and waited too long to intervene. The producer asked if they should intervene. Are you all unaware of the power dynamic between men and women? You are aware of the dynamics of the game, so of course no woman is going to say......yes, intervene. To add insult to injury, based on what was shown on TV and mentioned by the male contestants during the tribal council, it seemed like the experiences the women had with Dan was part of game play. Jamal nailed exactly what was going on, yet what was shown on TV, lead the viewers to believe that the women planned the whole thing as part of the game. Which is exactly how our patriarchial society views reports of harassment by women....part of some revenge scheme. Shameful!! No one has the right to touch someone without their consent and Dan has no self-awareness and can't read social cues. I don't care if he is married and has 20 children, he has no boundaries. The comments made by the male contestants in tribal is EXACTLY what happens in the real world. It's not complicated CBS, women need to be believed period and action needed to happen to resolve Dan's roaming hands. As someone who has watch the show since the first episode, I'm very disappointed and if I were a female contestant, I would have left the show right then and there. It's about doing the right thing not winning one million dollars. Janet was right to intervene because the producers didn't.
