Plato Quemado

Creepy in a repetitive way, maybe would have been better as a short story than a novel? Enjoyable to me because of how believable the characters and situation is, rich people who know nothing about actually surviving during a crisis but never reach panic mode because they are too docile and comfortable in their everyday routines. I can see this situation happening in the real world and the wordy description of the groceries and accommodations just further highlights what is important to the characters. Yes they are shallow but they have never been forced to be anything else or react to anything like what is happening in this story.
