In my opinion, this movie sucks. If you are a Garfield fan, then this might not be for you. First off, the story is inconsistent. There are many parts in the movie being too fast paced while others are too boring with no middle ground. Secondly, the character arc between Garfield and Odie feels off. What I mean is that for example, Odie in the original series was stupid while Garfield took advantage of it and treated him a specific way. But in the movie, Odie is smart, intellegent, and pretty much Garfield's servent. Finally, the main problem with this movie as well as the other Garfield movies is that Garfield is not meant to be a movie. It is meant to be short and entertaining. That reason on its own, puts this movie on the wrong foot. Do not watch.
