This movie was amazing, from expanded character development of characters such as Cyborg and Flash, to the introduction of Martian Manhunter, Darkseid, and Desaad it is way above and beyond the original. Steppenwolf is extremely more imposing and threatening than the theatrical cut and Darkseid is truly despotic and terrifying. The Knightmare scene at the end is a little unnecessary, although the allusions to Jason Todd are interesting. Also, they shacted that ancient Green Lantern pretty bad haha, and the pacing at the beginning is a little slow but needed for a proper backstory/introduction. Definitely worth the watch. (The nytimes definitely keeps trashing it though. As always a great source of unbiased journalism, keep up the good work yall...)
