Antihero Overload The characters in this series are the illogical extension of television’s current fascination with the antihero. Each tries to outdo the other in a veritable circle-jerk of odiousness, to the point that it all becomes utterly cartoonish. That said, the exteriors are absolutely beautiful.

Firstly, this film is absolutely gorgeous, a feast for the eyes that visually explodes off the big screen. Strong performances, particularly that of Emma Stone, buttress a story about the manner in which power seduces, and ultimately degrades, those in its proximity. Well worth two hours of your time.
