Netflixโs latest spy series pushes an overly inclusive agenda, sacrificing realism for representation. The first episode sets the stage with implausible characters: lesbian assassins, a small and frail gay hitman, a female spy who easily overpowers an experienced black SAS marksman, a godmother type ring leader... The result is a narrative that feels forced and detached from the gritty authenticity one might expect from the genre. Disappointing.
