As many others, I played this mostly due to nostalgia. That isn't to say the game is bad, but it's nothing ground breaking. It's still very true to it's roots with some nice new bells and whistles. The graphics are good and the environments are seemingly alive. There are plenty of Pokémon to photograph and each has different poses that you are encouraged to find.
The biggest drawback I have come to find is that you are stuck to the NEO-One, the vehicle that you ride in for each safari. You can't drive off course, stop or even slow the vehicle down to take the pictures you want. A course I could walk on would have been much preferred.
The game is definitely slower paced than most games, which in itself isn't a bad thing.
