Bursts of noise jump in and out on this electronic pop record from the 2000's and somehow they made it work. Acoustic instruments mix in well with the electronics, musique concrete, real drums, drum machines and the songwriters unique & clever lyrics. On paper, this wouldn't work. But somehow Broadcast bring everything together into a fascinating world of their own. To me the standout track's are "Black Cat", "Goodbye Girls" and "You And Me In Time".
A fascinating record from the mid 2000's.
