This all appears to be a simple story, but it is culminated to a treat to the eyes with some magnificent direction and some mind boggling acting both on the part of young Lydian and other kids. Add to that the fact that there was some serious good visual effects, something which is totally absent in all Bollywood movies, and superb music from Shivamani. The tracks were brilliant and cleverly used throughout the movie. There's this motivational track Narr ho is wowwww
A lot of word has been spoken about Shiv Hare's credibility as a director, about his overtly sense of perfectionism. Well, if this is his first test, then he gets music in everything. Apart from a very short sequence in the movie which is emotional, I thoroughly enjoyed it. The photography, and the direction is impeccable. And once again I have to say that young Lydian was fabulous. Débutante award. I'd say after Atkan Chatkan, Give the award to Lydian, its a walkaway."
I'd like to touch up on another point. This movie was an emotional experience for many. We watching together in family and I found many having tears in their eyes. Well, after seeing it, I didn't find any reason to think that this is a movie for children. I mean sure, this movie features a kid, but it isn't for kids, its a film about kids, but not the other way around.
A superb experience. 9/10 !!!
