I love the giver book I read it twice for 7th grade and for my 8th grade book report so I saw the movie and then I realized the movie is absolute trash. Like bro Some of the main characters except for Jonas, they have completely different jobs but one thing I will give to the movie is that most of the movie is black and white like the book. But yeah besides that the movie is trash and never seeing it again

This movie was really good and here are my points and reasons why. 1.the relationship between the main characters: this works because you want to focus on their relationship so it doesn’t feel forced 2. The comedy: it was really funny and made me laugh Some final things to say is that the effects looked cool, the gore looked great, and the sets looked cool. The only thing keeping this from five stars is that the killers came out of knowhere. In conclusion, it was a fun movie to watch.
