As someone born in 1996, I wasn’t much of a PeeWee Herman fan when it was airing. Watching this was very raw, real and interesting. I agree with Paul when he said “when there’s smoke, there’s not always a fire”. Paul was a very funny, naturally talented, creative, raw person. This is a beautiful thought provoking piece. I wish more people cared to know the real Paul Reubens and I wish we allowed him to live in his truth before we lost him unfortunately.
