FINALLY, a writer re-captured the essence of what made millions love Reeves' Superman. Clark's super weapon is how he inspires others to care & be brave & heroic, too. Saving the squirrel epitomized Superman's love for all creatures. The inclusion was hysterical & inspired idea. Clark & Lois sizzled. The ending focus on Clark's humanity felt like a tribute to Smallville's triumph of nurture over nature. My only quibble was rewriting canon for Jonathan & rushing thru the back story. Needed 10 minutes of flashbacks.
