Worst movie I have seen in a long time. Only watched it because of all the glowing reviews, but it is a waste of over two hours of life. I can’t believe such a pile of tripe received so many rewards. Of course the actors are all great actors but why did they want to be in such a poorly written farce? The Chinese-American context was in no way required for the plot development and just made it harder to understand since the use of subtitles was so extensive. If this what the film industry thinks deserves so many nominations and awards, the average viewer will abandon using those awards as a gauge for what movies to pay for.
