I felt that this show does not deserve the hate that it is getting. This is only the pilot, it is only setting things up, and it is doing its job well. I am looking forward for both story lines in the future. I specifically like the sarlak scene for it looks almost parallel to the comics. I did however think that the monster at the end was somewhat cringey and the cgi was not the best. Overall, for now I think this is a good start for a show full of potential.
