Cinematography, great. Costume design,great. Fighting choreography, great. Set design,great. AND THATS ABOUT IT.... This movie was a big confusion between wanting to be something different, Disney past Mulan and the original Mulan Poem. It felt unorganized, fake and just meh... so disappointed because it did have a lot of beautiful elements but the story was lost.

There's nothing really special about this drama. I don't know why it has good ratings. Predictable characters as well as the storyline. Its okay to have a poor girl rich guy story but the characteristics of all characters is very overused throughout dramas and My Secret Romance was no exception to this rule, there was barely anything original... I know this review is very negative but at a point of watching the series, it became hard to continue watching, though I did finish. if someone like this drama apologies...
