Poor Andrew McCarthy struggling to be a part of the Brat Pack all these years later. Not only does he make the Viewers of this sad and pathetic pity party uncomfortable, but his friends seemingly do all they can to nudge him forward without actually telling him to “get over it”. Demi Moore and Rob Lowe masterfully talk McCarthy down as he wails on like a bullied 4th Grader at Summer Camp. Molly Ringwald wanted nothing to do with this drivel and one cannot imagine Tom Cruise whining about being called a Brat. Like McCarthy, Cruise was never defined as a Member of this talented Crew and he certainly didn’t waste a second of his life and career needing to work through a name that was meant simply to reflect a newer, possibly more talented group of actors than the original Rat Pack.

Long, boring, very few funny moments. There was a cat in a hard side led backpack with its face in a plastic bubble for the entire movie.
