First time writing a review for a Chinese series but this blew my mind away. The fact I had to watch the entire series reading subtitles turn me off new C series. However, the visual of this movie, the beautiful cast especially the 2 main actors, the storyline and the build up of the romance is just incredible. Their relationship felt so real and the costumes are gorgeous. Was addicted to it even though reading subtitles is so hard. The flirting lines and poems are so unique I wish I am Chinese to understand it more.
