A relatively loose argument that forcedly ties in the plot and pace of the movie. It tries to cast a shadow of doubt on the mistery that bases the previous films by purporting the delusional proposition that superheroes are a thing, to it, it opposes (pseudo)scienfitic proof that, in reality, whilst extraordinary, these are just humans. Through Mr. Glass himself, the movie posits a retort to this claim. However, the argument does not ground itself properly. For instance, why are the protagonists held hostage without even a proper procedure. Why is the psychiatrist portrayed with dubious bioethics, almost villany? Of course, the movie's subtext is on the line withal. Everything is so fragile argumentatively that it ends up just being disappointing and frustrating.
