I read the book a few years ago and fell in love with the love story of Solène and Hayes. It was intense and angsty and I cried over and over and I’m not normally a romance fan but this hooked me. When I heard about the movie I couldn’t have been more upset over the casting of Anne Hathaway. I felt she couldn’t embody the sultry, sexy, Solène. Anne proved me oh-so-wrong. Wow! These two had huge chemistry. I loved this movie and especially the happy ending that we needed! I only wish it was a little longer as some important things were left out and the book had a more rock band excitement that the movie was missing. Overall, it was fantastic.
